Natural Umeboshi 自然栽培天日塩梅干し200g
This traditional-style umeboshi (pickled plum) is made using naturally grown plums from Setouchi Minato Ume Orchardin Kita Ward, Okayama City, and prepared with only plums, salt, and red shiso.
The red shiso is organically grown at Wacca Farm, and the salt used is traditional sun-dried sea salt from Nghe An Province in Vietnam.
The result is a flavorful umeboshi with a mellow and rich saltiness.
Setouchi Minato Ume Orchard is jointly operated by the natural food store Cotan and the organic farmers of Wacca Farm.
In 2020, they began restoring an abandoned orchard that had been left untended and was close to returning to the wild, launching a project to produce naturally cultivated umeboshi.
These energizing pickled plums are made from fruit nurtured by the sun and soil of Okayama, also known as the “Sunny Country.”
This is one of Cotan’s most proudly crafted items, and we hope you’ll enjoy its deep, natural flavor.

2020年に放棄され荒れ放題で自然に還りそうな梅園を整備し、自然栽培の梅干しを作る事業をはじめました。
